Please enjoy my blogs and feel free to comment.  I’m a forever young senior who has found balance and a healthy lifestyle through elimination of certain conveniences,  eating a plant-based diet, and regularly tending to the hedonist in me.  For much of my blog, that is going to be about food – food and life, food and travel, food and comfort.  I don’t pretend to be a chef, but I can speak to healthy but frugal living, and the tasty dishes that can result from a little experimentation and some good basics.

My basics tend to lean towards my Mediterranean roots. I come from a long line of beautiful Greek cooks, and my heritage plays a big part in my cooking and creating delicious, satisfying plant-based meals – meals that you can eat large portions of, guilt-free.  Who could ask for more?  Let’s talk about that, eh?
